The difference between hard seal butterfly valve and soft seal butterfly valve is as follows:
1. Different structures: eccentric butterfly valves are common for hard sealing butterfly valves, such as single eccentric butterfly valves, double eccentric butterfly valves, and triple eccentric butterfly valves; soft sealing butterfly valves are mostly centerline butterfly valves.
2. Temperature resistance: soft-sealed butterfly valves are often used in normal temperature environments due to material limitations; hard-sealed butterfly valves can adapt to low, medium, high temperature and other environments.
3. Anti-pressure degree: The hard-sealed butterfly valve has a wide range of applicable pressures, from low pressure to high pressure; the soft-sealed butterfly valve can only be applied under low pressure and normal pressure.
4. Sealing performance: The soft sealing butterfly valve and the triple eccentric hard sealing butterfly valve have good sealing performance. Among them, the triple eccentric hard sealing butterfly valve can maintain good sealing under high temperature and high pressure.
5. Different purposes: hard-sealed butterfly valves are often used in heating, gas, oil and other environments; soft-sealed butterfly valves are often used in environments such as ventilation and dust removal management.
6. Different sealing materials: the sealing surface of the hard sealing butterfly valve is metal, and the sealing surface of the soft sealing butterfly valve is non-metal.
