Analysis of problems in use of bidirectional high pressure butterfly valve
For the two-way high-pressure butterfly valve, many friends must have heard of it, but they don’t know much about it. There are still many problems in actual use. Let’s take a look at the existing problems:
1. Because it uses a multilayer soft and hard stacked sealing ring fixed on the valve plate, when the valve plate is in the normally open state, the medium will form a positive flush on its sealing surface, and the metal sheet sandwich After the soft sealing tape is scoured, it will directly affect its sealing performance.
2. Due to the restriction of structural conditions, the overall structure of the valve plate is too thick and the flow resistance is large, so it is not suitable for valves with a diameter below DN200.
3. According to the principle of the triple eccentric structure, we know that the seal between the sealing surface of the valve plate and the valve seat is pressed against the valve seat by the torque of the transmission device. When in a state of positive flow, the higher the pressure of the medium, the tighter the sealing extrusion. When the medium in the flow channel flows back, as the pressure of the medium increases, when the unit positive pressure between the valve plate and the valve seat is less than the pressure of the medium, the seal will begin to leak.
What we see are basically problems that will exist in use. Only after understanding can we prescribe the right medicine, and we will not make mistakes in use in the future.
